‘Shrek the Musical’ set for early March run

Circle Players, partnered with Lipscomb’s Department of Theatre, will open Shrek the Musical this Thursday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Collins Alumni Auditorium.

Show participants has been rehearsing music and preparing for the production since January.

“It’s a blast,” said sophomore theatre major Jonah Jackson, who plays the main antagonist in the musical, Lord Farquaad. “I’ve had more fun with this character than any other character I’ve done.”

 Shrek the Musical runs March 6-8, 13-15 at 7:30 p.m., and March 9 at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $10 for Lipscomb faculty, $5 for students with ID or free, with SGA providing the free tickers.
