Adnan Hodzić, former Lipscomb basketball star, graduated last May and went on to extend his basketball career in Germany. He returned to his alma mater to give his spiritual testimonial about how exactly Jesus Christ changed his life forever. After the testimonial, Lumination Network sat down with Hodzić who has changed so much in seven short months, not just physically but spiritually.

Singarama, Lipscomb’s biggest theatrical event of the spring semester, will look slightly different this year.
The massive effort by Lipscomb students to write, produce and perform their very own musical normally culminates after spring break, but this year the popular annual event will be March 8-10, the week before spring break. Read the full story

Jan. 14 kicked off the start of a service oriented week to honor the birth of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Students from Lipscomb, Belmont and Vanderbilt universities collaborated on the week’s first service project, all helping to paint Fire House 19 near downtown Nashville through the Hands on Nashville service group. Students spent their Saturday morning painting the old fire house that has been forgotten since 1993.
Other projects to honor Dr. King included working with Feed the Children and the American Red Cross.

A bus accident killed one Abilene Christian University student and left at least a dozen passengers injured Nov. 4 when the driver lost control on a curve, crashing the bus into a concrete culvert, causing it to roll and eject several students. Read the full story

Lipscomb University Athletics has announced the launch of its new Adoption Rally program, a groundbreaking venture designed to help families defray the mounting costs of adopting children while filling the stands at Lipscomb’s Allen Arena for men’s basketball games. This season, in an unprecedented move, Lipscomb’s new Adoption Rally program will give 100 percent of game day gate revenues from its most prestigious sport to families in the process of adopting children.
